Shaka's Rock
The small residential village of Shaka’s Rock is found within an extremely scenic area and the coastline is surrounded by beautifully bouldered cliffs. The name is apparently derived from the time of King Shaka who was said to use these rocks as a lookout point. Alongside the stretch of sandy beach is an appealing tidal pool for all to enjoy. The beach is also a popular ski-boat launch site and some of the bigger boats set out from here on deep sea fishing trips.
